BTRCES selected 162 students for assessment. Let’s Go Learn’s Diagnostic Online Reading Assessment (DORA) and the Adaptive Diagnostic Assessment of Mathematics (ADAM) web-based assessments were used for the assessment. Data from the assessments was compiled and presented to the school for review.

BTRCES selected students for the reading remediation who were 2 or more years below grade level. Students who were 2.7 years or more below grade level in mathematics were candidates for participation in the math training program.

Projects_BlessedTrinityThe Academy of Reading offering instruction in Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary & Comprehension and The Academy of Math, offering instruction in Numbers and Operations in Base 10, Numbers and Operations in Fractions, Measurement and Data, Geometry and Operations in Algebraic Thinking were used to provide individualized training for students in the specific area where deficiencies had been identified.
